IntelliJ IDEA - There is a free community version for idea.

Open the IntelliJ IDEA,

  • go to File -> New -> Project from existing sources, choose the root folder of your project and open.

  • select sbt under Import project from external model.

  • select Library sources and choose the proper JDK version, fow now I use JDK 1.8.

  • click finish, now after downloading all the dependencies, you should be able to get your project up.
